xxbrightcitylights: Teen missing in Colonie, New York! Colonie police are asking for the public’s help as they attempt to locate a missing Latham teen. The family of Tyler Rooney, 16, reported him missing around 8:30AM. The family said he was last seen at 6:30AM and left behind a note that has increased their concern. Police said the teen has had issues with depression and has made mention of bridges in the past. The New York State Police Aviation Unit and the Rensselaer County Search and Rescue Bloodhounds are assisting in the search. Tyler is 5’11” and weighs about 120 lbs. He has brown, hazel eyes, and was possibly wearing silver shorts and carrying a black backpack with a Swiss Army Cross emblem. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Tyler Rooney is asked to call the Colonie Police Department at 518-783-2744.
