Um excuse me, but I believe that being a bad test taker doesn’t mean you drop out of school. Also, going through a hard time is also no excuse to drop out of school. Honestly, there’s no reason to drop out of school. K-12. George W. Bush managed, why can’t you?

You can’t even drop out until you are 16, so if you’re so lazy/uncommitted that you can’t take two more years out of your life to finish your basic high school education, you shouldn’t be allowed to go to college. College is work. Hard work. Harder than high school work. If you couldn’t handle the basics why should they let you move on? Are you going to play at Carnegie Hall if you couldn’t play Chopsticks? No. That’s the way it works. Stop justifying your inability to stick with things.

Lots of people go through lots of things and still manage to stay in High School. My mother earned her BA in Education while working full time and going to school full time. That’s a lot more intensive than a basic High School education. A friend of mine’s father randomly had a medical emergency that appeared to be a stroke when my friend was in 9th grade. His father no longer remembers anybody from before the incident. He was super involved, the typical suburban soccer/football/baseball coach. Guess what?

I’m graduating high school with that friend in two weeks.

Its not that hard. Stop bitching.
